Based in Chengdu, the AbsolutePanda team has been focusing on panda and wildlife tours all over China since 2003.
Our staff is comprised of panda fans, wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers who are interested in deviating from the beaten trail. With years of practice and experience in the eco-tourism industry, we are happy to appreciate travel as an art. We believe "Travel is an Art" and spare no efforts to arrange the best trips with our professional knowledge and endless passion.
Our vision is to create a harmonious relationship among tourists, the locals, and the natural environment by providing world-class sustainable travel in China. Melinda Zhang
The director of AbsolutePanda, travel designer.
As a Hakka people born and brought up in a small village of Fujian Province in Southeast China, Melinda was nurtured by the beautiful mountains, fertile lands, and rich Hakka culture in her hometown. Since her childhood, Melinda has shown a strong love toward nature. With the growth of her age, her love toward nature develops into a strong passion and desire to know more about beautiful nature and share the beautiful world with other people. So she studied English at University and choose to work in the travel industry after graduation in 2008. Melinda had travelled extensively in China and nearby countries in the past years as a guide and tour designer. Melinda joined AbsolutePanda in 2018 in the pursuit of her dream to concentrate more on nature travel. At AbsolutePanda, she is in charge of daily operations and a product manager.
